Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce is here to promote your business to our members, our community, and surrounding areas for the purpose of growing your business and bettering the Sturgis area. We are a member-based association. There are nearly 300 Chamber Member businesses in a variety of categories. The Chamber is made up of a Board of Directors, Chamber staff, and Ambassadors. 

Keystone Place is an emergency housing facility that provides services to the homeless and at risk of becoming homeless populations in St. Joseph County. 

In 2021, Feeding America found that 5.5 million seniors in the U.S. experienced food insecurity. As one of the most vulnerable populations, lack of access to nutritious food leads to an increased risk of developing chronic health conditions and disabilities. One of the ways South Michigan Food Bank supports our seniors is by serving as a proud partner of the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP). CSFP is a federal program that provides support to low-income seniors by supplementing their diet with monthly food packages filled with nutritious USDA foods. 

We are proud to be St. Joseph County’s premier Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). At Pivotal, we serve all ages with mild to moderate behavioral health concerns, not just those with severe or persistent needs, including individuals with private health insurance. Our strong connection with the community allows us to enhance the lives of the individuals we serve by delivering integrated services that jointly address medical and behavioral health needs including:

• Crisis, Emergency, and Access Services
• Adult and Children's Services
• Substance Use Disorder Services
• Residential Services

DASAS is an organization that is dedicated to putting an end to domestic violence and sexual assault in Southwest Michigan. DASAS has been in existence for over twenty five years serving victims and their families in Cass, St. Joseph and Van Buren counties.  Our philosophy clearly states our commitment to the survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.  

Executive Directors, 

Rob & Tiffany Wagler formed Rooted in the fall of 2019 because they recognized that there are so many broken families that need help in our community.  They realized that there are many children entering the foster system without the security of enough foster families to provide homes for them.  They realized that children being removed from unsafe homes were often left in a sort of limbo for a time as the search for an available foster family was conducted.  They realized that there are many who are willing to help others, but they just don't know how.  So, they decided to take the steps to get more involved. They want to help mend broken families.  They want to help grow the number of available foster families in St. Joseph County.  They want to create a more comfortable, simpler transition between removal and foster placement.  They want to help create communication and unity between the numerous community  resources available and the people that need them. They would love to have you join us as they work to make these goals a reality.
